In a few weeks, The Italian American Museum of Los Angeles (IAMLA) will be presenting the 7th annual Taste of Italy. On October 10th, downtown L.A. will host many local restaurants, Italian and California wineries, live entertainment, chef demonstrations, and celebrity guests.

As historian and Executive Director of the IAMLA Marianna Gatto explains, “Taste of Italy offers a glimpse of the region’s extensive Italian history and contemporary Italian lifestyle while supporting the Italian American Museum of Los Angeles.”

I was invited to a special preview, which was held at Rao’s in Hollywood, to give us a sneak peek of some of the dishes and drinks that we can look forward to on October 10th! Every dish was absolutely fantastic, and find out more details about the event at the end of the post.

Fiocchi Ravioli

With Di Stefano Mozzarella, Grape Tomatoes, Basil and Balsamic Reduction

Micro Rao’s Meatballs

Baked Little Neck Clams

with Italian Breadcrumb Stuffing

Bruschetta

with Arugula, Rao’s Roasted Red Bell Peppers, Golden Raisins, Pine Nuts, and Ruliano Prosciutto
