I love when I know about something before anyone else…  It’s like a little secret that I’m in on and nobody else gets to be as cool as I am.  Teehee 🙂  Seoulmate is one of those secrets… well WAS one of those secrets!

There is a tiny, tiny location in Long Beach that I pass by frequently, and it always hits the spot.  If it wasn’t bright pink, then I swear absolutely no one would notice it!  Well, it’s about to hit the spotlight big time because it has a new sister location just up the freeway in Downtown Fullerton.  I got to check it out, along with a few new items on the menu!

First of all, I’ve been in this area before, and according to Beerface McGillicutty (our beer contributor), a few restaurants have come and gone in this location before.  We REALLY hope this one sticks!

P.S. – It’s good to see that the pink stuck!  🙂

They have several items on tap, and Beerface picked the Modern Times Stout this time.  It’s a rotating tap with some seasonal picks, so it’ll be fun to stop by and see what we can drink along with our yummy food!

Now, to the food!

This has to be the one item that we just absolutely crave.  Add an egg on it for an extra oomph!

This is almost like a breakfast burrito with all that egg in there!  I loved the tangy kimchi addition.  Nom nom nom…

Fries and seaweed?!?!  Don’t worry, it’s subtle and just what you want on the side.  🙂

So the OG DFC (Downtown Fried Chicken) is the original style fried chicken that is exclusive to this new location.  Korean fried chicken is super light and crispy.  This is no exception.

I love spice, so this one was perfect for me!  Beerface tapped out after one, so beware!

We both loooved this flavor!  However, it’s not going to be as crispy as the OG since it’s so saucy, so be prepared for that.  🙂
