It was just after all of the earthquakes here in Southern California and we were too shaken up (pardon the pun) and wired on adrenaline to cook diner. Besides, we were meeting up with the folks and my sister to have a quick dinner. By the time we finished watching the local news and riding out the aftershocks, it was pretty late so we grabbed sushi at a nearby restaurant: Sapporo Sushi!
Normally, I take a few pictures of the ambiance, the menu, etc., BUT I must have been distracted by the night’s events. Also, the restaurant is a typical mini-mall restaurant and the menu is online, so it’s not a big deal. Let’s get to the food!
I would love to get my own bento box for lunch. There is something fun about eating from those little compartments, right?
I was completely hungry, so I ordered a roll that I figured would conquer that. Ironically, my roll came last when we were nearly done. And it was huuuuge…
I think there was more outside the roll than inside! Also, everything was yummy and we just scarfed it down after the day’s craziness.
