P.F. Chang’s (internationally)

I was editing the pictures for this post and my guy flat out asked me, “Are you really going to blog about P.F. Chang’s?”  Well, yes!  I wanted to blog all my eating episodes, and that includes everywhere, including chain restaurants.

The main reason we headed to P.F. Chang’s this weekend is because my guy won an award at his work, and they gave him a $100 gift certificate.  That’s practically two dates’ worth!

This location was extremely busy, and I must have not been here in a while because I could not believe that a wait for 2 was going to be up to an hour.  Wow!

Luckily, I was a smarty pants and we nabbed a spot at the bar about 5 minutes later.  No wait for us!

We decided to order some lettuce wraps, because I even like making them at home.

I was totally surprised by the size of this water glass!

I remember the last couple of times that the food was very, very salty, so I was happy to have it.  Also, we asked for our food low sodium, which was definitely a good move.

Next, we ordered the Ginger Chicken with Broccoli.  The good thing was that the broccoli was not overcooked and they put the sauce all on the bottom.  That way, we could just dip it into a teeny tiny bit, because it was definitely salty.  The chicken however was a bit overcooked.  Womp, womp.

The Singapore Street Noodles were just not my thing.  Overcooked shrimp and the flavor profile wasn’t my favorite.

To end, we decided to pick three sweet treats because they were only a couple of bucks, and the bartender said they were small.  Well maybe they were extra generous with the slices, but they looked regular sized to me!

First, the Blueberry Cheesecake.  Yum!

The Salted Caramel Cake was next.  Pretty good and I loved the crunchy topping.

The Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch was super rich!

We were super full by the end of our meal, and of course we have enough for a whole other meal.  Wow!  However, he is going to do a happy hour instead so we don’t have to brave the Saturday evening crowds again next time.  🙂

Have you ever “dined at the bar?”  I always like it as an option!
