For a quick dinner, the family and I went to an Italian restaurant that we had been hearing about for a while, called La Parolaccia. I have a feeling that we will be coming back soon!
It definitely has an old-school Italian decor.
The normal bread was good, but instead of butter, it was served with a sun-dried tomato spread of some sort. Delicious!
Sea bass, clams, shrimp, calamari, crabmeat prepared in a lightly spicy tomato sauce.
Delicious and definitely not skimping on the seafood!
Small beef meatballs, fresh tomato sauce, garlic, pecorino cheese, basil, topped with extra virgin olive oil.
I am very critical of meatballs, and these ones actually passed the test!
Rolled fresh pasta filled with shredded beef short ribs, parmesan and mozzarella cheese, blend of vegetables in a creamy béchamel tomato sauce.
I ordered this, and it was amazing. Definitely one of the best pastas that I have eaten in a long, long time!
Rigatoni in a Bolognese sauce, small beef meatballs, topped with fresh mozzarella and grilled eggplant.
This dish was enormous, so my guy had a delicious lunch the next day. 🙂 Also, he is not the biggest eggplant fan, and he still loved this, so you know that it had to be good!
Now, I understand why it was so busy by the time we left. 🙂
I am so glad that we had the chance to cross this one off of my list. 🙂 Until next time, La Parolaccia!
