After dinner at Zeffirino, the dinner party decided to skip dessert.  However, my ever-present dessert stomach and sweet-tooth combination PLUS the fact that I ordered only a salad and an appetizer, caused me to eye the Espressamente illy gelato display.  The same real-estate adage applies to this place: location, location, location.

Yes, it’s impossible to walk by the store and not notice the line of people waiting to pick a treat from the shiny display case of gelato.

I sampled a few different flavors before finding my favorite, because there were more than enough to try.  There were fruity flavors…

…traditional Italian flavors such as Bacio, Amaretto, Fior de Latte, and Cassata…

…in three different cases.  Like I said, SO many flavors to choose from!

My partner-in-crime got the pistachio…

and I had the blood orange!

It’s always one of my favorite traditions to have gelato in Las Vegas, so expect to see more posts, whenever I’m in town.  🙂
