Casa Inka (Fountain Valley, CA)

We had a quick dinner with my family and a friend who is practically part of the family!  They picked a restaurant that I had not tried before, called Casa Inka.  We do love our Peruvian food, remember our meals at Picca and Mo-chica?  🙂

The restaurant itself is huge, colorful, and there was some lovely live music!  Now, to the food!

Is it possible to go to a Peruvian restaurant and not order a ceviche?

Also as a starter, we had some bread served with a couple of spicy chili pepper sauces, called Crema de Huacatay y Crema de Rocoto.  Have the water handy!

Before we move on to the main dishes, I just wanted to share a bit of the restaurant with you.  It looked like this inside the restaurant.  Just like eating outside, but better!

I’m pretty sure that this picture says it all!

I just loved this fish!  It does not photograph nearly as delicious as it tasted.  Being the veggie lover I am, I swapped out the rice for a side of mixed vegetables.

I am not exactly sure what my sister ordered, but it was a lot of veggies and almost a curry sauce.  Maybe someone out there would know?
