Just about everyone I know loves donuts.  Why?  My theory is that when you have a sweet tooth, the only way to really have dessert morning, noon, and night is in the form a donut!  But I’m not talking your average morning pastry here, I’m thinking of the incredible flavors and gorgeous creations that you find in shops such as the new Poqet Donuts!  I previewed the shop before it opened and tried every single donut they had in the store.  I even made my own!

That’s right, there is an option to make your own custom donut!  You pick your own donut, fillings, and toppings to get the exact donut of your dreams.  Yum!

This is the one I made with a cake donut, strawberry frosting, berries, and coconut.  So delish.  🙂

Absolutely delectable version of these classic flavors combinations!  I could just dive into that s’mores again.  Heaven!

Foodies will rejoice with these two flavors that are on trend.  The Nutella was one of my favorites!

These two were easily the ones that got the most double-take reactions.  “Wait, there’s an avocado donut?”  Yes, and it’s so, so good.  By the way, definitely don’t miss the pistachio creme brûlée.  The crackly top is so decadent!

I have had my share of vegan donuts before, and honestly… these were hands down the best!  I would order both of these again in a second, even with the whole menu available.  It doesn’t hurt that these are two of the prettiest ones that they sell!  🙂

Vanilla is normally associated with being boring or plain.  Not in this case!  The cake is chewy, yet crumbly, while the vanilla custard is light and airy with the sweet custard inside.  Both so different and both so delicious!

Probably my two favorite donuts in the bunch.  I do love a good peanut butter donut, but sometimes they can be dense.  Not this one!  I had to take one home because I wanted more.  🙂  Blueberry donuts are a bit of an obsession for me.  Remember this taste test?  I think it’s time for an update with more contenders…

Both of the donuts above were made to order.  I found more than a few I liked, so I took a box home along with my custom donut.  🙂
