Bouchon Bistro (Las Vegas, NV) - The Episodic Eater

After going over my A to Z archives recently, I found out that Bouchon Bistro is my most visited restaurant. It was fitting that when we headed to Vegas, we went to our favorite stop yet again!

We started with the famous epi bread, a delicious accompaniment to many of their dishes.

Starting with a cocktail!

Terrine de Foie Gras de Canard

served with toasted baguette

Rillettes aux Deux Saumons

fresh & smoked rillettes served with toasted croûtons

Salade de Tomates

heirloom tomatoes, ricotta salata & garden lettuces with basil vinaigrette

Beautiful, colorful dish, and amazing!

Escargots à la Bourguignonne

Burgundy snails, parsley-garlic butter & Bouchon Bakery puff pastry

Gnocchi à la Parisienne

sautéed gnocchi & seasonal vegetables

Pâtes du Jour

fresh hand-made pasta: Campanelli with mushrooms in a white wine cream sauce

This dish was fantastic, and would be an amazing addition to the full time menu. Thankfully for my dinner pals, I was in a sharing mood. 🙂

Espadon Poêlé Provençal

pan-seared swordfish with pepper stew, fennel bulb, summer squash & niçoise olive tapenade

Peach Melba Sundae
Orchard peach, vanilla diplomat, raspberry sherbet

Verrine de Fruits à Noyaux

brown sugar custard with Frog Hollow apricots, fresh cream & warm biscuit

This dessert was my favorite of the two. The biscuit was buttery and delicious, and a perfect sweet partner to the tart apricots and luscious cream.

Basically, there’s no question about why this is the restaurant I have written about most over the past couple of years.
