I had a conference to attend in downtown Long Beach, and since it was scheduled through lunchtime, I had my choice of overpriced, blah hotel food, or eating something delicious afterwards. I think you know what I chose!
It was in between lunch and dinner time, and luckily Crème de la Crêpe was open! To see the decor, which is very cute and Parisian, click here for my first post.
Otherwise, let’s get to the food!
What is more French than paté? Oh wait, maybe…
I actually did not order the paté or escargots, but they are certainly a treat!
cheese, fresh spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms & potatoes
As you know, I love veggies. However, I decided to add the spicy lamb sausage to make it a bit heartier! I think this is my new favorite. I mean, look at how it is just bursting with yummy deliciousness!
sweet batter crêpe with crab meat, shrimp, tomato, bell pepper & jack cheese
This is the same crêpe that I featured before. Still as good as last time!
bananas, melted chocolate & coconut snowflakes
Unfortunately, my pictures were terrible, but the dessert itself was incredible! How can you go wrong with chocolate and bananas? 🙂
dulce de leche with mango & vanilla ice cream
It seems as though I am persuasive because my lunch/dinner company ordered another one that I had from my previous visit.
I love that golden mango just peeking out!
Anyways, this is definitely going to be my go-to restaurant if I am caught in the area during that awkward time between lunch & dinner. It always hits the spot!
